So I need to share what happened this morning. I was sitting on the tube, preparing for a fun day in London before going home for winter break. I looked out the window as we pulled into the next stop, and my train of thought went something like this- “Huh. That guy kinda looks likeomgomgwaititactuallyisStevenMoffat.”

What followed was a long tube ride in which I slightly hyperventilated, giggled with the guy across from me who recognised him too, and got harassed by my friend to “just say something to him or I’ll never talk to you again.”

My moment finally came when we had to get off and it turned out, he was getting off at the very same stop. I took a deep breath, tried to calm down, and ended up freaking out anyways.

I approached him, said hello, stumbled and stuttered and tried to put thoughts into sentences and not look crazy. I don’t think I succeeded but hey, I got to tell the guy who heads up my favorite show on television, just how much it means to me and how it not only changed my life, it saved it. And I also got to show him my TARDIS tattoo!

He loved it. And it honestly made my day. He was so unbelievably sweet. I think I frazzled him (I may have been tearing up, shut up no I wasn’t) but he was so wonderful and I really appreciate that he stopped to talk to me. It’s safe to say this has been a pretty awesome day for me!
